We had an amazing time at Cocoa Amore chocolate shop last night in Leicester. Organised by the FSB the event was a chance to meet new start-ups.
There was positive and motivating business strategy talk by the owner of Cocoa Amore. We heard about his struggles, about not giving up on his dream to becoming a chocolatier. This offered hope to me and I'm sure to all the people that were there.
We also had a chance to be part of their chocolate making workshop. We were educated on where, how chocolate is grown and manufactured. We learned about how chocolate was developed and why they use the type they do. We tasted our way through the world map of chocolates and where the best cocoa beans come from. We then had a chance to make our own chocolate truffles, which was the best part of the evening.
This was the best chocolate making workshop I've been too - beats Cadburys World any day! 👊🏼
At the end, there was only one truffle left!
Thank you Jennifer from FSB and Cocoa Amore for hosting a lovely evening.
